$26,000 is an amazing start to our community donation target of $54,000, and our overall goal of $250,000. To provide further insight into this number, here is a breakdown of the amount Craft Ontario needs to raise in donations and support on a monthly basis:
By the end of December 2018, a final $103,000 needs to be raised in order to have a stable cash flow balance going into 2019 for ongoing operations and programming at 1106 Queen Street West.

Craft Ontario still has the ability and capacity to deliver its vital programming – what the organization faces now is a cash flow crisis. If this is overcome, Craft Ontario can remain in its current location while working to improve and restructure its annual programming.

The move from Yorkville to Queen St. W. took place in order to reduce facility costs for the entire organization, and with the intention of creating a stable basis for moving forward.
We have learned from our current situation, and now we need the support and time to change. We are working to keep what our community values about Craft Ontario, and evolve the organization into a thriving institution that serves you better than it ever has before.
To help us move forward, we want to hear from you. We are planning a Town Hall meeting in January, please let us know your availability.
Craft Ontario is crucial to the craft community – no one can afford to lose this 41 year-old organization and the support that it uniquely provides for professional craftspeople.
