She is a full time healthcare worker and whatever spare time she has is spent connecting with loved ones and nature.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eShe became interested in arts and crafts at a very early age. Creating indigenous art grounds her and connects her to the past. She enjoys working with diverse media including painting, drawing, digital design, sewing, and photography. She creates decorative art such as jewelry and baskets with grass, driftwood, sea glass, wood, resin, and even rocks! Her art includes working with furs, skins, leather and antler of seals, rabbits, moose, and caribou, porcupine quills, sinew, birch bark, feathers, and beads. A large part of her indigenous crafting involves working with the traditional medicines; sage, cedar, sweetgrass, and tobacco.
