Born in 1990, Adamie is a young carver, following in the footsteps of his father, Pauloosie.
Already quite prolific despite his young age, his carvings of owls are well known and his bear carvings are also sought after.
Adamie’s signature style are carvings of owls with wings upraised, with notches for an impression of feathers. Often asymmetrical, the owls balance on one foot and gaze from wide eyes. He carves from local serpentine stone, which comes in an array anywhere from white, to a jade green, to almost black.
