Hanging Mask
With simplified faces and expressive surface imagery, these hanging masks feel both intimate and graphic. Made from stoneware with slip decoration, each mask is carved using a sgraffito technique that has the look of etched prints, with drawn lines cutting through the surface. Each mask is one of a kind.
