Announcing the New Craft Ontario Gallery Location

Announcing the New Craft Ontario Gallery Location

The Craft Ontario Gallery will be moving this summer to the iconic arts and culture hub at 401 Richmond Street in Toronto! This move would not be possible without the continued support from our patrons, members, and specifically, the generosity of longtime supporter, Ann Cummings.

The 401 Richmond building has a rich history of manufacturing before becoming a mixed-use cultural hub in the 21st century. Read about the past eras of the building and the vision of the current period under ownership of the Zeidler Family, here. The Craft Ontario Gallery will be neighbours to Open Studio and joining other prominent galleries and arts and culture organizations in the building. See the list of tenants here

With the new gallery space opening, the Craft Ontario Shop locations will be remaining open at 1106 Queen Street W and 9 Gristmill Lane in The Distillery District. The new gallery space will be opening mid July 2025 and the first programmed exhibition in the space will be Nithikul Nimkulrat's 'Remembered & Forgotten'. Sign up to our mailing list for the opening reception invitation of this exhibition to celebrate the first show in the new space with us.

We can't wait to join the galleries and artists who already call 401 Richmond home and expanding the visibility of craft in Ontario!
