Jeff Goodman established the Jeff Goodman Studio in 1989. He built a studio environment where designers, artists and architects can collaborate and fully explore the infinite possibilities of glass. The Studio’s constant desire to experiment and create continues to grow since Jeff’s passing. The calm, innovative and productive atmosphere he fostered remains a home for the group of creative artists he mentored and inspired. Renamed The Goodman Studio, they have been internationally recognized for modern blown glass vessels, and innovative architectural glass. Every piece created is one-of-a-kind and hand-made by their team in The Goodman Studio's Toronto studio hot shop or kiln shop.
When we asked their team which past projects are guides for current work, they noted that the Ritz Carlton Spa project pushed creative boundaries and scale, while the Baha'i Temple of South America represented a new level of technical mastery. These two projects truly highlight The Goodman Studio's journey and have significantly shaped the studio’s identity.
The Goodman Studio is recognized for its bold, bright colors and signature coarse frosted finish. The studio’s elegant, unique, one-of-a-kind shapes are filled with movement and simplicity, making each piece distinct and dynamic.
