    Stefanie Smith's World of the Watchers is an evolving story-building project that interweaves folklore and myth-building with ceramic sculpture and photography. The project began as a search for a greater sense of play and whimsy, in a practice that felt over-thought and overly serious. It has quickly taken on a life of its own.

    Fiona Macintyre has been making jewellery and hollowware for over 25 years.
    Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Guelph and an Honours Bachelor of Design from OCADU in Jewellery and Metalsmithing, Fiona has worked with established jewellery designers along with museum work and teaching opportunities.

What's the best way to find out what's going on at Craft Ontario?

Be sure to follow Craft Ontario on Facebook or Instagram, and sign up for the Craftflash newsletter

When do public events normally happen?
  • The Gallery changes over exhibitions every 7-10 weeks during the months of January to October. Each exhibition has a reception.
  • The Annual Awards ceremony happens in October.
  • An annual fundraising event is scheduled every fall.
  • Symposia and conferences happen every few years and align with collaborative projects with sector partners.
  • Special events are often member driven. Members offer their resources and we work together.
  • The Annual General Meeting is scheduled in June.
How do I qualify for a Priority Group or Sliding Scale membership discount?

Our discounts operate on a self-identification basis. There is no need to provide supplemental information in order to receive a discount. If you need assistance applying a discount to your invoice, please email membership@craftontario.com
