This year's Cape Dorset Print Collection continues to bring forward the stories, culture, and snapshots of life in the North, expressed with the unmatched artistry of printmaking that Kinngait Studios is known for. The official release date of this collection for sale is Saturday October 18, 2024.

For over 60 years an annual print collection has been distributed from artists in Kinngait and Craft Ontario has the honour of having been selected as the Official Host Gallery of this year’s collection!

Craft Ontario recently had an opportunity to visit Alexa Kumiko Hatanaka's exhibition at The McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Final Gasp of the Nervous System, a project made while in residency in the historic Tom Thomson Shack. We were fortunate to connect with Hatanaka to further expand on the intentions of this project.
