Featured Artist: Builderburner Ceramics by Alana Wilson

Visit the Craft Ontario Shop August 13th - September 10th to see our feature of ceramics by Alana Wilson, AKA Builderburner Ceramics.

Alana Lea Wilson is the craftsperson behind Builderburner Ceramics. Her bright, colourful objects in clay range from functional to sculptural and explore the themes of home, belonging, nostalgia and longing.

Alana received her MFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2019, and her B.F.A from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University in 2010. She has participated in residencies, given lectures and workshops, and exhibited her work across Canada, the United States, and in Australia. She received a Canada Council for the Arts Explore and Create Grant in 2020 and has had work featured in Ceramics Monthly. Alana currently lives in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
