Creature Coin Bank in Brown

These greedy creatures are hand thrown, one-of-a-kind coin banks. Coins are fed into its mouth and held in its stomach. A plugged hole at the bottom of the bank can be used to retrieve your savings at any time (no need to break it!). A great show piece AND a tool to save money!

Artist statement: “I am interested in things that are unnoticed and appear to have little or no significance on a regular basis. As we strive to do better, we often become oblivious to things that surround us. Using forms inspired by micro-organisms, I want to emphasize the importance of the individuality and the collective entity. The creatures are an interconnection of reality and existence. By taking the time to observe and give our attention to these small details, we are soon faced with another form of existence waiting for our recognition. My work is presented in a monumental presence through the accrual of small imaginative elements.”
