The Woven Vessel series is inspired by traditional Panamanian textiles. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
White, glass frit, dots the surface of the opaque, black forms. Ribbons of colour add a pop to the matte surface. These are sure to suit any style of décor! 

Hand blown glass.

Raised in Panama City, Nadira Narine has a deep interest in her cultural roots. Having lived in Canada for a little over a decade, she explores objects and memories from her childhood as a means of self-discovery and connection to home.
Nadira is an Artist in Residence at the Living Art Centre, a former AIR at Harbourfont, appears on Netflix's Blown Away, received the 2020 Jurors Choice Award for DesignCon, and a was finalist for the prestigious 2023 RBC Glass Award.
