Owl

Wings spread and stretching upwards, the tips touch, forming a lovely heart shape of negative space. The wide eyed owl, leans a little forward, weight shifting to one foot, gently inserting a potential into the symmetry of the form.

From Cape Dorset, Adamie was born September 17, 1990. His parents are Pauloosie and Elisapee Qaumagia. Adamie is an artist who shows considerable promise for his young age.  He learned to carve from his father, Pauloosie Qaumagia. Like his father, Adamie’s favourite subject is the owl.
