Finely handcrafted curved wooden box with a trillium flower in marquetry on the box's lid. Perfect for storing any precious objects. There is a felt lining inside the box as well as outside on the box's base.

Artist Statement: “Constant attention to form, shape, mass (and a dislike for repetition) has caused me to explore beyond the common and simple forms attributed to most woodworking. I take pleasure from those who contemplate and ponder what I have done, how I have done it and why. While I like to surprise it is not for the sake of surprise alone, but more from an intent to stoke another’s imagination and amusement, to encourage the need to touch and explore. My current work makes use of bent wood and marquetry which I fold around whatever I am making."
