In the series “Expressions from the land within” Trillia’s sculptures, like letters from some unknown alphabet, have a life of their own.

For Trillia, these personal expressions evolve over time and in unexpected ways. You may find them standing on their own, or in relationship. As the sculptures are rotated, flipped, stacked, or joined, their meaning changes. This inner language is fluid and eventually self-revealing. Always meaningful.

The dynamic between sculptures transform and shift when arranged together and in different ways. Some formations produce uplifting waves, while other arrangements may produce more introverted shapes.

Trillia relates this body of work to an alphabet - where letters can be flipped, turned and arranged with other letters to form new meaning.
