One of a Kind Show Craft Community Award

Since 1975, the One of a Kind Show has been helping artists and artisans from across the country to make a living out of their passion—and we are not alone in this endeavor. This section celebrates the educational institutions and organizations of the Canadian art and craft community who work to teach, foster talent, grant opportunities and increase exposure of the uniquely talented artists and artisans working today. Since its debut at the 2011 Spring Show, the Craft Community of Canada section has partnered with these institutions to provide complimentary spots in the Show to recent graduates to exhibit and sell their work.

Sponsored by the One of a Kind Show, working in collaboration with Craft Ontario, this award entitles the recipient to become part of the spotlight section: The Craft Community of Canada at the Spring 2018 One of a Kind Show. This section is dedicated to aiding emerging artists from Canadian craft institutions across Canada to launch their careers. The award winner will be required to complete a standard One of a Kind Spring Show application package, including booth design, product line description and studio photos.
